Percé Rock is a huge sheer rock formation in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence on the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula in Québec, Canada, off Percé Bay. Percé Rock appears from a distance like a ship under sail. June 2023

Éole is the best place to learn all about the development of wind power in Quebec, as well as to enjoy the picturesque landscape of Le Nordais wind farm and the surrounding area. A unique touristic site whose main vocation is education on renewable energies, in addition to offering a multitude of other attractions and activities. June 2023

Niagara-on-the-Lake is a town in southern Ontario. It sits on the shores of Lake Ontario, at the mouth of the Niagara River. It’s known for its wineries and the summer Shaw Festival, a series of theatre productions. The flower-filled, tree-lined old town features 19th-century buildings, mainly along Queen Street. Near the river, 19th-century Fort George was built by the British to defend against American attacks.

When visiting the War Museum in Ottawa in July 2022 Iwe were able to meet up with Josie Wan, Hakka originally from Mauritius but lives in Ottawa. She was very kind to bring juice and char sui bao for us, as we were in a tour to Eastern Canada. July 2022
